Data sources

Where the timetables and live times in TranSwynt come from, and under which licence we use them.

TranSwynt does not operate trains, coaches or aircraft. Every planned time, delay and cancellation we show is read from a published source. This page names each one, credits it as its licence requires, and says plainly what we do with it.

What we do with the data

We change it. Times from these sources are matched to one another, compared with the planned journey, and turned into a judgment about whether a connection still works. Nothing you see in TranSwynt is a source's own words. Where a source says nothing, we say unknown rather than guessing.

We do not pass the data on. TranSwynt shows results. It does not republish, export or resell any of these timetables or live feeds, and offers no interface for doing so.

No warranty

These sources are provided by their publishers as they are, without warranty of any kind, and the same applies to what we derive from them. Data can be late, incomplete or wrong. Check with the airline or the railway before acting on anything that matters. This mirrors each licence's own disclaimer and the position stated in our Terms of Service.

Attribution notices

Contains information from gtfs.de, SNCB/NMBS and PKP PLK, licensed under CC BY 4.0 and the publishers' own terms. Contains information from the SNCF and FlixBus datasets published on transport.data.gouv.fr, licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL). Contains information from opentransportdata.swiss. Dutch timetable data by Stichting OpenGeo is released under CC0 1.0. All of it has been modified, as described above.

If you publish a source and something here is wrong or out of date, write to info@swynt.eu and it gets corrected.
